Our mission at InSight Vision Center is to provide exceptional eye care services to our patients in a positive, compassionate, and professional manner. 

 

History

InSight Vision Center opened its doors in December 2012. The dream for the practice began when Dr. Andrew DeMeritt and his wife Andrea were attending college. In the Fall of 2012 their plans to open an independent practice turned into reality as they decided to move back to Dr. DeMeritt's hometown of Owosso. With the rapidly changing landscape of the optical industry transitioning towards large chain stores, they felt there was a need to preserve the local, small-town feel offered by an independent Optometrist and Optometry practice. Our patients seem to appreciate the extra time we get to spend in assisting them selecting eyewear, and also the time spent with Dr. DeMeritt as he provides what many patients say is the most thorough eye exam they've ever had. (Check out our reviews on Facebook, Google, and on here as well!) We hope to continue the foundation we're building as a local favorite for exceptional eye care.
