DR. ANDREW DEMERITT - OPTOMETRIST
Dr. DeMeritt was born and raised in the town of Owosso and is thankful to live and work in his own hometown. He is an Owosso High School alumni, participated in the OHS band for many years, was active in the National Honor Society, played tennis and was on the swim team. He attended Owosso First Church of the Nazarene his entire life and was involved in the Bible quiz team and youth group, and is still a part of this church with his family. After High School, Dr. DeMeritt attended Ferris State University on a scholarship for his undergraduate studies and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Biology. He then completed his 4 year doctorate program at the Michigan College of Optometry. After graduation, he began working at a private practice in East Tawas, MI as well as nursing homes around the state. In Sept of 2012 he began the process of opening his own practice, and doors opened to InSight Vision Center on December 4th, 2012. He is married to Andrea and has two children, Aubrey and Caleb.

ANDREA - OFFICE MANAGER
Andrea is Doctor DeMeritt's wife and is the manager & billing coordinator for the practice. She grew up on the west side of the mitten state in the Rockford/Greenville area. Andrea attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Systems Administration. Andrew & Andrea were married in May of 2009 and have two kids – Aubrey and Caleb. As the office manager she works behind the scenes doing billing, working with vision and medical insurance, advertising, marketing, web site maintenance, social media, purchasing, payroll, and finances. According to Andrea, "I feel so blessed to be a small business owner in this great community. It's been a lot of hard work starting our own practice from the ground up, but we couldn't be more proud of how far we've come. It's truly a dream for our family. We couldn't do it without the help of our amazing team and wonderful patients!"
